The Work of Angels.

  1. The Angels are represented as Praising God Continually.
Psa 103:19  Jehovah has prepared His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom rules over all.
Psa 103:20  Bless Jehovah, O angels of His, who excel in strength, who do His command, listening to the voice of His Word.
Psa 103:21  Bless Jehovah, all His hosts, ministers of His who do His pleasure.
Isa 6:3  And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is Jehovah of Hosts; the whole earth full of His glory.
Rev 5:11  And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures and the elders. And the number of them was myriads and myriads, and thousands of thousands,
Rev 5:12  saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.

 2.  They serve those who are to inherit Salvation since the entrance of sin into the world.
Heb 1:14  Are they, (the angels) not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation?

  3.   They rejoice at the Repentance of sinners .
Luk 15:10  Likewise I say to you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

 4.  They watch over believers.
Psa 34:7  The Angel of Jehovah camps round about those who fear Him, and delivers them.
Psa 91:11  For He shall give His angels charge over You, to keep You in all Your ways.

  5.  They protect the Little Ones.
Mat 18:10  Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I say to you that in Heaven their angels always behold the face of My Father in Heaven.

  6. They are present in the church.
1Co 11:10  For this reason the woman ought to have authority on her head because of the angels.
1Ti 5:21  I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you guard these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.
elect angels  — an epithet of reverence. The objects of divine electing love (1Pe_2:6). Not only “elect” (according to the everlasting purpose of God) in contradistinction to the reprobate angels (2Pe_2:4), but also to mark the excellence of the angels in general (as God’s chosen ministers, “holy angels,” “angels of light”), and so to give more solemnity to their testimony [Calvin] as witnesses to Paul’s adjuration. Angels take part by action and sympathy in the affairs of the earth (Luk_15:10; 1Co_4:9).JFB

  7. They convey Believers into the Bosom of Abraham.
Luk 16:22  And it happened that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich one also died and was buried.

  8. They frequently bear special revelations of God to men.
Dan 9:21  yes, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, touched me in my severe exhaustion, about the time of the evening sacrifice.
Dan 9:22  And he enlightened me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I have now come out to give you skill and understanding.
Dan 9:23  At the beginning of your prayers the commandment came out, and I have come to explain. For you are greatly beloved; therefore understand the matter, and attend to the vision:
Zec 1:12  Then the Angel of Jehovah answered and said, O Jehovah of Hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah against which You have cursed these seventy years?
Zec 1:13  And Jehovah answered the angel who talked with me with good words, comfortable words.
Zec 1:14  So the angel who talked with me said to me, Cry out, saying, So says Jehovah of Hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

  9. They communicate God's Blessings to His people.
Psa 91:11  For He shall give His angels charge over You, to keep You in all Your ways.
Psa 91:12  They shall bear You up in their hands, lest You dash your foot against a stone.

Isa 63:9  In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

Dan 6:22  My God has sent His Angel, and has shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me, because before Him purity was found in me. And also before you, O king, I have done no harm.

Act 5:19  But the angel of the Lord opened the prison doors by night and brought them out, and said,
Act 5:20  Go! Stand and speak all the words of this Life to the people in the temple.

  10. They execute God's judgments on His enemies.
Gen 19:1  And there came two angels to Sodom at evening. And Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. And Lot rose up to meet them when he saw them. And he bowed himself with his face toward the ground,
Gen 19:2  and said, Behold now, my lords, please turn into your servant's house and stay all night, and wash your feet, and you shall rise up early and go your way. And they said, No, but we will stay in the street.
Gen 19:3  But he urgently pressed on them, and they turned in to him and entered into his house. And he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

Gen 19:13  For we will destroy this place because great is the cry of them before the face of Jehovah. And Jehovah has sent us to destroy it.

2Ki 19:35  And it happened that night, the Angel of Jehovah went out and struck a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. And they arose early in the morning, and behold, they were all dead bodies.
Angels rescue lot and His family but destroy Sodom and Gomorrah

Mat 13:41  The Son of Man shall send out His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity,
Mat 13:42  and shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth
